Rental house update update

It turns out the damage to the air conditioner was not caused by the renters and was covered under warranty after-all. Yeah.

If they wanted to extend their lease past the original 6 months they should give 3 months notice. And....they haven't. So that means they haven't read the lease or they are planning to leave June 30th.
On May 1st, we can get going again with the rental agency and try to get it rented for July 1st or somewhere around there, hopefully.
We'll need to clean the carpet and I'd like to get the deck sealed....but other than that there shouldn't be too much to do.


I'm trying very hard to get this house paid off. The shop has been slower since the middle of March so my payments have been a little smaller. It seems like I'm running behind.

It has been kind of cold and gloomy here most of the spring. That is wearing me. I'd like about 60 or 70 degrees and sunny.

I've got wood and various kinds of dirt in my van. Soon I'll turn that into a raised garden bed. Then into May I'll get some new strawberries to plant. I've got several from last year that are planted in the ground. They are big and are starting to get blossoms.
My blackberry has got a bunch of buds.

But yesterday I made a pot of chicken soup (cold weather food) blah.

It seems like I've been tired for weeks....just kind of going through the days...
